Adela, circus inspired doll

Finally finished my new doll. When I started this doll, I was watching the  French film  ‘The Girl on the Bridge” about a professional knife thrower who stops a girl in the middle of attempting to commit suicide, and convinces her to be his target girl in his traveling circus act.  So I was inspired to make a doll inspired by the circus although I am sure I strayed away from the theme a bit. However, this is what I came up with. I named her Adela, after the main character of the movie.

She is hand sculpted in fimo puppen clay and is approximately 12.5″ when seated and 23″ long when laying down. She will soon be for sale in my Etsy shop.
