Annika, Victorian Steampunk Inspired Doll

Annika, my new doll now for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Approximately 22″ long and 11.5″ when seated.

Annika is from my cloth doll series in which fabric bodies are sewn, stuffed and then completed with sculpted face and hands. Her face and hands are created with Premier Air Dry Clay, sanded, gessoed, painted in acrylics and then finished with a varnish for protection. Her arms and legs are lightly posable. Her hair is strawberry viscose, and decorated with white gathered lace, a golden pair of wings and hand painted fabric roses.

Her outfit is an original design completely hand sewn by me. Her corset, neck piece and boots are all constructed of brown leather and lined with lace. I have sewn on several golden beads, brown bows, gathered lace, roses, and attached tiny brass keys to various parts of her costume. Her skirt is made of several layers of tulle fabric. I have attached a large golden heart to her chest.
